Wynona Mutisi
Wynona Mutisi is a Harare-based illustrator, layout designer and art director. She has a background in fine art with a special focus on printmaking, digital art and bookbinding. She works for a pan-African newspaper called The Continent. She recently won an Award of Excellence from the Society for News Design for one of her newspaper cover illustrations.
Her practice is largely a mix of slice of life illustrative work and visual journalism using colour to convey beauty in both the mundane and thematically heavy subjects. Outside of the newspaper, Wynona’s work includes projects with global institutions and newsrooms such as Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Global Press Journal, Oxford Brookes Poetry Centre, and Tufts University. When she is not making art, Wynona enjoys writing about art and visual culture in Africa.

Hupenyu
Hupenyu is a Comedian, Spoken Word Artist and Film Maker based in Harare. His name is currently renowned and fast-growing due to the success of his Suburb Series which intersects comedy, history, Zimbabwean geography and journalism.

DVD Shop Sessions is coming to OKAF 2026
DVD Shop Sessions brings cinephiles and audiophiles together by pairing artist interviews with exclusive live performances. It is recorded in what is believed to be the only remaining DVD Shop in Harare. Each episode features a fun and lighthearted conversation with a special musical guest who shares insights into their creative process, their thoughts on both classic and contemporary films and exclusive information about upcoming projects.
Rutendo Rusere
Rue Rusere is the last of her mother’s four daughters. Raised in a world that taught her both tenderness and resilience, she learnt early to observe, to question and to feel deeply.Writing became her way of making sense of quiet injustices, unspoken truths and the everyday moments that often go unnoticed.
Through her work, she gives voice to stories that many live but few dare to tell.The Society That Laughs is her first published collection; a reflection of the world as it is, and as it could be, if only we chose empathy over indifference.
She is a Supply Chain graduate from the University of Zimbabwe and continues to pursue both storytelling and analytical work with equal passion.

Roland Takunda Guzha aka Zoxo
Zoxo is a community-driven, multitalented creative. He is a graphic designer, aspiring indie game dev, coach, kids ministry teacher at Celebration Own, and the founder of the Ggz Arcade.
As an eSports enthusiast, he has hosted over 30 tournaments as a gamer for over 30 years. He believes that helps him know how to make, what to make, and what gamers like. With no sponsorship or funding, while acknowledging the need for resources and a studio to build and create his ideas, he has been working with Unreal Engine for like 4 years. Working on 3 projects he hopes to get published and shipped, at least one game by the end of 2027. He believes we’ve seen Asian, American, and European stories told in video games. He strives to tell African stories and bring a whole new brand of African video games.
